Fifty years ago if you had told someone from Ireland that historic warring parties Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael were now governing the country together you'd have been met with disbelief.
But the Irish political landscape has changed rapidly particularly in the last few years.
It's already been a hell of a few years for the coalition government of Fianna Fail, Fine Gael and the Greens with the country seeing a deadly pandemic, rotating Taoisigh and a cost of living living crisis which have all put the government at the centre of an increasingly displeased electorate.
The country is still over two years away from the next General Election but the ever looming threat of Sinn Féin continues to plague the legacy parties who have governed the country for the guts of the last century.
Add on top of that a seemingly never ending housing crisis, threats to party leadership and overall fatigue among voters, will we still see a hunger for change in the coming years?
Well the Irish Mirror political team is here to try to answer those questions and delve into the ins and outs behind the scenes at Leinster House with our new YouTube series Dáil Talk.
Political Editor Ferghal Blaney is joined by Political Correspondent Louise Burne who between them have first hand access to all the latest political psychodrama in Ireland.
Each week there be analysis, insights, and even some special guests and exclusives interviews all packaged into a nice 30 minute video you can check out on the Irish Mirror YouTube channel.
