A popular little waterside wine bar and restaurant in Leith has just been named as one of the UK's best.
Toast, in Leith, is the city's first cafe to explore blending day time brunches and coffee with top wine and fine dining in the evening.
The self-described 'wine café' was picked out thanks to its incredible location on the Shore, warm welcome by the team and of course their incredible wine list.

Located in a former art gallery, Toast has built up a strong following thanks to its breakfast and brunch options, artisan cakes and pastries, and excellent outdoor space which is always packed during the summer months.
The Times team wrote: "This glass-fronted 'wine café' with pavement terrace overlooks Leith’s waterfront and has one of the best biodynamic, organic and natural wine lists in the city. The charming and welcoming front of house team will guide you through the eclectic selection that might include bottles from Slovenia, Croatia and Greece.
"The popular all-day brunch features the likes of croque madame and American pancakes while the globally inspired evening menu might include chermoula-baked aubergine with bulgur wheat, pomegranate and Greek yoghurt."
Also representing the east coast, and just over an hour and a half's drive from Edinburgh, is the Seafood Ristorante in St Andrews, which the Times describes as an "elegant, modernist steel-and-glass box of a restaurant" that juts out over the beach at West Sands, offering "fabulous views" over St Andrews Bay.
They added: "Local and sustainable seafood is served in refined, sophisticated and highly seasonal dishes that include John Dory with Loire valley white asparagus, braised morel and Shetland mussels. Pair with a bottle from the notably good list of Italian wines."
