  • Dolly Parton served as an uncredited producer on Buffy the Vampire Slayer through Sandollar Productions, the company she co-founded with Sandy Gallin – her former manager.
  • Sandollar initially produced the 1992 Buffy film before executive Gail Berman helped adapt it into the television series starring Sarah Michelle Gellar .
  • Although Parton was not individually credited, Sandollar featured in the credits throughout the show's run from 1997 to 2003.
  • Gellar revealed in 2023 that Parton sent the cast personalised Christmas presents during the early seasons.
  • Parton later spoke about her involvement with the series, telling Andy Cohen in 2021: “I thought Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a wonderful little show.”
