The Great British Bake Off viewers were unhappy with the judge's particularly harsh comments.
Tonight, the bakers had to take on an array of foreign treats as they arrived at Mexican week. They were asked to put their own twist on pan dulce, Mexican tacos and, for their showstopper, create a tres leches cake.
The tent went into this week's challenge blind as no one had experience creating Mexican-themed bakes. Despite their best efforts, it wasn't enough for Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood who were unusually harsh with their critiques.

During both the technical and signature rounds, the judges passed each bake without offering many compliments. The majority of pan dulce and tacos were "dry and lacking flavour" or "stiff and not very exciting."
The comments left the tent and viewers feeling deflated as they didn't believe the harsher than usual comments were warranted. One viewer said: "Blimey, there’s no pleasing the judges tonight is there."
Another added: "Swear the judges are being savage tonight." A third viewer said: "Damn, judges are harsh today..." When it came time to present their showstoppers, several of the bakers were close to tears.
