Fans of fried chicken in Glasgow have never had it so good with plenty of incredible options, however one brand is making bigger waves than most with its incredible offering.
Taking the southside's food scene by storm, Lucky B's Hot Chicken on Fenwick Road in Giffnock is the first name on many people's lips for those looking for some proper Nashville-style Hot Chicken.
A joint project from local entrepreneurs Giancarlo Celino and Antoni Dobrenko, who are also behind Giffnock's other faves CATCH Fish and Chips and Tonis Pizzeria, the pair decided they wanted to target a younger audience with their latest venture.

"We felt there was a gap in the market for the younger generation and especially chicken," explained Giancarlo. "After spending some time in Dubai together and dining in a Nashville Hot Chicken restaurant, we both felt this would work really well in Giffnock.
"We were aware there were many Piri Piri and fried chicken concepts but in Scotland, nobody was offering and concentrating on Nashville Hot Chicken."
And it seems they've hit onto a winner with people loving their offerings which include a mouthwatering selection of jumbo tenders, wings, waffles, burritos and bun sliders. All of which come with varying degrees of spiciness, ranging from no heat, right through to the fire starter (which customers need to sign a disclaimer to enjoy).
And don't forget sides like waffle fries, fried pickles and tater tots.
"The chicken is coated in our signature flour dredge and fried, then dipped in our Nashville spiced oil," revealed Toni. "And finished with the heat level of your choice."
And with reviewers and bloggers alike, as well as the TikTok generation, praising their efforts they've seen people come from far and wide to try it.
Giancarlo said: "The response has been literally off the scale and we are queued out the door every weekend, we knew it would be popular but this is on a different level."
He added that they've since been inundated with franchise enquires from their own website, adding that people shouldn't be surprised if they see a Lucky B's Hot Chicken in their area pretty soon.
We can't wait to see what they do next.
