More than 4,300 rat reports to the council have been made by people in Glasgow over the past six months with most complaints seen in the east centre area.
The ward, which includes Riddrie, Cranhill and Carntyne, had 323 requests for rat services submitted to the council between January 1 and June 12 this year.
The second highest number of gripes about rodents, totalling 312, was recorded in the Canal ward, containing the neighbourhoods of Possilpark and Milton.
