The Forestias, a mixed-use development by Magnolia Quality Development Corporation (MQDC), has received 42 global awards to date for quality and innovation.
The development located in the Eastern Economic Corridor comprises residential properties and large parkland areas geared to different lifestyles and generational needs.
As of Jan 31, the project has total deposited sales of residential units of 17.2 billion baht, amounting to 40% of sales across all residential units.
Kittiphun Ouiyamaphun, project director of The Forestias, welcomed the news, saying: "We're humbled by the global recognition accorded our project and very encouraged that the enormous resources we are committing to ensuring The Forestias' quality is something that homeowners and others have affirmed to be the right thing."
Recently, The Forestias was presented with three awards -- a Gold Award for Urban Design, a Silver Award for Sustainable Living and Green Design, and an Honourable Mention for the project's Forest Pavilion -- at the 15th edition of the prestigious International Design Awards (IDA), recognising the project's architectural innovations.
The Forestias is the only project from Thailand to be recognised by the IDA this year.
Other organisations which have recognised The Forestias include the Outstanding Property Award London, the International Property Awards, the International Federation of Landscape Architects, the Muse Design Awards, the Dot Property Award, the Eldercare Innovation Awards, and the Asian Property Awards.
Mr Kittiphun added that the Forestias is intended to be a showcase project for what is possible in terms of design.
