The family-run pub less than two hours from Manchester that’s been named the best in the North West

A family-run inn in Cheshire has been named as one of the best pubs at the National Pub & Bar of the Year Awards.

The Swan, based in Marbury, has won the North West Pub & Bar of the Year accolade at the prestigious awards. It is located just an hour and a half drive away from Manchester.

The 19th-century venue, on Wrenbury Road, has previously been recognised as Cheshire Pub of the Year at the Taste Cheshire Awards 2022 and one of the top 40 Sunday lunches in the UK by Sawdays Guide in 2021.
