As temperatures once again plummet across the North East, weather officials expect the region will see a bout of snow overnight.
The Met Office predicts that thick clouds across Newcastle and its surrounding areas will lead to downpours, before precipitation turns to sleet and snow especially over high ground. Temperatures of -4C are also expected in places.
However, the snowflakes aren't expected to stick around long, with forecasters estimating that a bright and dry day on Monday will quickly melt any snow on the ground.

On the snowfall, the Met Office said: "Thicker cloud and outbreaks of rain will spread eastwards later this evening and overnight, with precipitation turning to snow over high ground, and perhaps to lower levels for a time. Minimum temperature -4°C."
But that won't be the last of the snow this week - with more blizzards anticipated when Wednesday rolls around.
The outlook for Tuesday to Thursday according to the Met Office is: "Feeling cold throughout, with widespread sharp overnight frosts and ice risk. Sunny spells Tuesday, snow showers Wednesday, then dry with bright spells again Thursday.
"Breezy at times."
It comes as the weather officials also released a second consecutive yellow weather warning for ice overnight - which begins at 6pm and will remain in place until 10am on Monday.
