Fans are making bets on what Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have planned for their super-secret wedding, from the location to the bridesmaids.
The Grammy-winning singer and NFL tight end, both 36, announced their engagement on Instagram in August 2025, after two years of dating. Since then, there have been multiple reports about where they’re getting married, including a potential wedding earlier this month in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, where the “Opalite” singer owns a $17.75 million beach house.
That ultimately wasn’t the case, as the couple is reportedly set to tie the knot July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, according to various reports.
However, neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly confirmed their wedding location, and they’ve notoriously kept their plans under wraps. Still, fans have gone to Kalshi, an online prediction market exchange website, to make bets on what the famous couple has in store.
As of June 24, 76 percent of people on Kalshi have bet that Swift and Kelce are getting married in New York. Meanwhile, about 22 percent are betting on Rhode Island.
A low 6 percent of people think the pair will get married in Pennsylvania, where the “Love Story” singer was born.
Fans are also taking bets on the guest list, with 92 percent of people predicting that Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs teammate, Patrick Mahomes, will be there. Meanwhile, more than 89 percent of people are betting on Swift’s close friends, sisters Alan and Este Haim — who sat courtside at Game 4 of the NBA Finals with the “Oplalite” singer earlier this month — will attend.
The odds are pretty high for Swift’s frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff to be there, along with her Eras Tour openers Sabrina Carpenter and Gracie Abrams, and close friend Selena Gomez. While supporting Kelce at his Chiefs games, Swift has become friends with Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, and 89 percent of people on Kalshi have predicted she’ll be at the wedding.
More than 83 percent of people predicted that Swift’s childhood friend, Abigail Anderson, would be in the bridal party. Fans are also betting that Swift’s longtime friend Ashley Avignone, Gomez, Este, Alana and Kelce’s sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, will be bridesmaids.
Last month, numerous sources leaked supposed details about Swift and Kelce’s wedding, including the Madison Square Garden location. Located in Midtown Manhattan above Penn Station, the world famous arena has multiple entrances and exits, which could be a reason why the high-profile couple reportedly chose the venue.
One source told Page Six that “privacy was of number one importance to them both.” The source also suggested that guests would be taken to the arena on blacked-out buses to ensure privacy.
Last week, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani appeared to verify reports that Swift and Kelce are getting married in the city next month.
“We are the biggest city in the country,” Mamdani said at a press conference to discuss the city’s preparedness for the upcoming July 5 World Cup match at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
“We know it coincides with July 4, America 250, Taylor Swift’s wedding all happening at the same time,” he continued, assuring that he is “fully confident in the work of the NYPD” to provide a “safe experience” over the three-day weekend. However, Mamdani did not reveal the exact location of the wedding.
The New York Times has now reported that a permit was filed with New York City to close the streets around Madison Square Garden from July 2 to midday July 4 for an event on July 3, according to three sources, further pointing towards Madison Square Garden as the chosen venue for the pair.
