It's fair to say that we all have a bit of a sweet tooth, and there is nothing better than finding a cake shop that really takes the fun to the next level.
Heading over Fife way (trust us, it's worth the trip) you'll find Wicked Cheesecake where you'll not only discover, as you'd expect, an array of mouthwatering cheesecakes, but also some other innovative creations sure to get your tastebuds tingling.
For instance, their most recent offerings include a heady hit of nostalgia, in their Angel Delight Eclairs, and a sweet take on the viral hydration drink that everyone wants to get their hands on, with Prime Ice Cream.
Set up by Jason Thirlwall and his wife Sam from their home three years ago, Wicked Cheesecake now runs three stores (in Crossgates, Inverkeithing and Kirkcaldy) and supplies others across the country - as well as offering a bespoke service to create your own cheesecakes.

"It wasn't planned," explained Jason. "A few cakes in the kitchen and it exploded, literally. We came up with a brand, and it literally took off, very quickly! We opened our first shop in Crossgates, Fife, in November 2021, since then we've opened another two stores and supply around 60 stockists across Scotland weekly."
Not only that, but they've also catered for numerous weddings and venues including the famous Balmoral hotel in Edinburgh, and won several awards in the process.

Jason added: "I think we've now done every cheesecake flavour possible, we do a whole lot of amazing eclairs, tarts, cookie pies, truffles and shakes too.
"We've recently started a savoury line doing doner meat pies and bridies which are extremely popular and are literally a sellout every week!"
Always creative, they've also created other innovative bakes like their Biscoff truffles and even cheesecake-filled Easter eggs.
But it's their latest offering that is quickly getting noticed on Facebook, they've teamed up with a Glasgow-based Gelato company to offer an ice cream version of Logan Paul and KSI's now famous Prime Hydration Drinks, the luminous coloured bottles that people have been travelling all over the country to get their hands on.

"We try hard to keep things exciting and different," added Jason. "We buy our gelato from an amazing company in Glasgow called Sweet ‘N’ Up, I stock all my shops with their ice cream, it's some of the best we've ever had.
"The guys at Sweet'n'up always push the boat with new innovative flavours and I noticed they had made a batch of the Prime Ice Cream for their own shop and given the sheer demand for it, I thought it would go well in our shops,
"I gave them a call and within 24 hours I had it on my ice cream counter, it's been a huge hit with people travelling from far afield to come and purchase some. We're charging £4 for a large scoop, only slightly higher than our other flavours."
They are so popular, that Jason confirmed they've also now started selling them as milkshakes and even has plans to make a cheesecake version of the sought-after drinks.
And it's not just in Fife you'll find them, Jason explained that they supply wholesale to some amazing stores in the capital, Bennitos Deli in Corstorphine, Envelope and Bacon in Barnton, Stone fired in Preston pans and Gilmerton Grocers in Gilmerton.
While people wanting to check out their other sweet treats, such as cheesecakes, brownies, doughnuts, ice creams, cookies and other delights can find them made fresh in-store at their three Fife locations.
