Italy is one of my greatest sources of design inspiration. I return often, and every visit offers something new: an unexpected color combination, a beautifully shaped door handle, a softened edge of hand-carved stone, or the way afternoon light moves across a centuries-old facade.
What I love most about Italian decor is that the design is not treated as decoration. It is woven into everyday life. Beauty is found in the smallest, most functional details: the shutter that softens the sun, the marble threshold worn down by generations of footsteps, the café chair pulled into the exact patch of shade. Nothing feels overly precious, yet everything feels intentional.
