Ed: Gigabyte told German tech publisher Computerbase that the controller is a Phison E18 one and the NAND is a BiCS5 TLC NAND from Kioxia that is working in pseudo-SLC mode (pSLC) which means that it accesses only one-third of its capacity with two-thirds acting as reserve NAND. The actual capacity of these drives will be 4TB (1TB usable) and 8TB (2TB usable)
