You get the impression that the summer transfer window will now get into full swing for Arsenal with no international fixtures providing a distraction.
Officially, the window has been open for a week now but the Gunners' confirmed business thus far has centered around outgoings rather than incomings with Ainsley Maitland-Niles among several players leaving when their contracts expire at the end of the month in addition to youngster Nikolaj Moller joining St Gallen permanently.
That's not to say manager Mikel Arteta and sporting director Edu Gaspar aren't working on deals to ensure the Arsenal squad is strong enough to compete for the Premier League title next season as well as going far in both domestic cup competitions and the Champions League.
In fact, developments and reports from the past 24 hours or so alone indicate that the Gunners pair are extremely busy at the moment and football.london runs down what deals are currently in play as it looks like it's just a matter of time before there is a flurry of announcements to delight supporters.
Incomings
Let's start with Kai Havertz. As revealed by football.london, interest in the Germany international is genuine, so much so that The Athletic are now reporting that Arsenal have struck an agreement with Chelsea for a £65 million transfer with personal terms said to be already sorted.
This comes hot on the heels of the Gunners seeing a second bid for Declan Rice rejected by West Ham United as the offer was still below the £100m-plus asking price. Having said that, they are expected to push ahead in finding an agreement with the Hammers to land Arteta's priority summer signing.

Jurrien Timber is another player whom Arsenal have placed a bid for this week. Valued significantly higher than £30m by Ajax, football.london understands an improved offer is required in order to get this deal over the line and the good news is that Dutch media outlet De Telegraaf expects this to be the case.
Contract renewals
It's not just new arrivals on the radar in N5 as football.london understands William Saliba has verbally agreed a new four-year contract and that talks regarding a new deal for Reiss Nelson are now in the final stages, with the club confident a deal can be finalised.
Outgoings
Granit Xhaka is expected to complete a move to Bayer Leverkusen, and all that remains is an official announcement with regard to Pablo Mari's £5.9m permanent transfer to Monza after the Spanish defender helped the Serie A side avoid relegation in the season just gone.
Elsewhere, The Athletic have reported that both Arsenal and Thomas Partey's representatives are working on possible exit solutions for the 30-year-old with CBS Sports claiming that Al Nassr, Al Ahli and Khaleej are all keen on taking the Ghana international to Saudi Arabia.
