A report from the City of Edinburgh Council found that a third - £1,163,608 - of the last year's total parking fine revenue came from ten parking ticket hotspots, with the top one - the New Town's George Street - alone bringing £461,738 in the council's budget.
Last year, the vibrant and always busy George Street saw an astonishing number of 10,262 parking tickets issued, making it by far the most likely spot motorists can get a parking fine in the capital.
