Season five of The Crown is now steaming on Netflix with the streaming service having dropped all 10 episodes today (November 9).
Returning with the same characters and new faces as the series follows the British Monarchy in the 1990s, viewers were able to see older versions of The Queen, Prince Philip, King Charles (then Prince Charles) and of course, Princess Diana.
However whilst we saw some familiar faces, other characters joined the story-line with many wondering who they were and where they are now.

One standout character is Mohamed Al-Fayed who played by Salim Dau. The actors great performance has caught the attention of many with him being boasted as a 'stand out' character. But whilst many are keen to know more about the actor, people are also wondering about the man himself.

Who is Mohamed Al-Fayed?
Mohamed Al-Fayed is an Egyptian businessman and former owner of Harrods department store who currently has a net worth of $1.9 billion, according to Forbes.
He is married to Heini Wathén and has five children. He is also the father of Dodi Al-Fayed, who had a relationship with Princess Diana. Both would sadly die in the car crash in the Pont de l'Alma in Paris, also called the Alma tunnel.
Forbes state that the businessman moved in the mid-1960s to the UK where he made his fortune. He owns the storied Ritz Paris hotel - this was the place Diana and his son were staying before they sadly died.
Al Fayed sold Fulham Football Club to US auto parts billionaire, Shahid Khan, for a reported $300 million whilst he is also said to have sold Harrods to Qatar for a reported $2.4 billion.
In addition to the Ritz, he also owns a Scottish castle and a sprawling estate called Balnagown near Inverness where guests can rent out cottages.
Where is Mohamed Al-Fayed in 2022?
In present day, Mohamed is 93 years old having been born on January 27 1929 in El-Gomorok, Alexandria.
He keeps a low profile nowadays and is rarely seen out in public.
