Netflix's The Crown is facing criticism for its depiction of Princess Diana's death.
Filming for series six is underway and will cover the final days of Diana'slife, including her harrowing death in Paris, France. She and Dodi Fayed died on August 31, 1997, after the vehicle they were travelling in crashed at the Pont de l'Alma tunnel.
The moment in time is highly anticipated by viewers but the extent Netflix has gone to showcase the incident has some concerned after images surfaced of the wreckage showcased an excruciating amount of detail.

The recreated aftermath shows a crushed bonnet, buckled wheels and the dashboard hanging out of a destroyed window screen - a factual display of Diana's car.
The upcoming scene was a topic of conversation on Good Morning Britain with Susanna Reid branding the depiction as "chilling." She said: "This isn't about a historical documentary disclaimer. This is about taste and decency.
"That is a horrific event where somebody was terribly wounded and died and her children are still around and will see that. I do know I find it, really kind of..."
Passers-by saw Netflix filming the death scenes late last year but a source told the Daily Mail the exact collision will not be depicted. They said: "I think a lot of people will find it quite sick that they went into such detail to recreate how the car was smashed up. I think it's going to cause a lot of upset with the Royal Family. If it was any other family I'm not sure they'd do it."
