The fifth series of The Crown will come out on November 9, it has been announced. The news was shared during Netflix’s Tudum global fan event.
The Tudum event which showcased upcoming series and films from the streamer – including a sneak peek at the third series of Bridgerton, and a first-look at Shonda Rhimes’ Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, a prequel centred on Queen Charlotte’s rise to prominence and power.
The announcements come as the streaming service clamp down on households sharing passwords and are adding a new advert-tier that is expected to cost between £6 and £8 per month. They are even reportedly considering scrapping the binge model to keep a hold of customers.
