The Coral have been announced as a new act joining The National Lottery's Liverpool music tour in celebration of Eurovision.
Over 20 gigs at 20 venues will take place across the city to welcome the contest, showcasing Liverpool's iconic music scene, contribution to the industry, and to support the grassroots music venues that remain the lifeblood of UK music.
The Coral have just been announced to appear at Future Yard as part of the celebrations with an array of show stopping artists featuring all over the city.

Discussing how important small venues are for young artists, they said: "The last time we played Birkenhead was a small gig in 2000, a battle of the bands night just as we were starting out. If it wasn’t for shows like that, where we learned to cut our teeth as a live act, then we wouldn’t have gone on to have the career we’ve had."
From May 8 - 12, gigs will see a diverse range of headline artists including; Jamie Webster at Phase One, Miles Kane at Jacaranda, Lightning Seeds at The Cavern, the CRAWLERS at Jimmy’s, and the Mysterines at The Caledonia.
Alongside these events, Music Venue Trust and National Lottery will be celebrating the very best new acts the city has to offer, at venues including Meraki, E.B.G.B.S and the Kazimier, with the aim of providing a whole week of music that is uniquely Liverpool, one of the world's leading music cities.
Every National Lottery ticket-holder will be invited to bring a “plus one” for free - all they need to do to qualify for this offer is to bring any National Lottery product when they attend the gig. Tickets are available on a 2-for-1 basis to National Lottery players.
Tickets are available here.
