A community in Co Carlow has paid tribute to a local man who was killed in a workplace accident on Wednesday evening.
The accident happened at about 5pm at a premises in the Fenagh area on Wednesday evening which gardaí and emergency services attended.
The man who has been named locally as father-of-three David Hutton (54) sustained fatal injuries.

His body was removed to University Hospital Waterford where a postmortem was carried out.
Mr Hutton was a native of Paulstown in Co Kilkenny but had been living in Tullow in Co Carlow for a number of years. He is survived by his wife Caroline, sons Dean and Ross, and daughter Zoey, mother Anne,
The Health and Safety Authority have confirmed that it has launched an investigation.
Paying tribute local Cllr John McDonald (FF) who was a friend of the family said: “The community’s in shock at the moment, first of all I’d like to express sympathies to the family of the deceased, but everybody’s in shock at the moment. It’s a small close-knit community so it does hit everybody hard."
"The community is good and they are good to support so we will all support the family. I think it’s very important that you would have family and friends in the community to support you."
No funeral arrangements have been made for Mr Hutton as yet.
