Good morning, Winners! Thanks so much for reading the Morning Win today. We appreciate you. Hope you’re having a great week so far. Just a couple of days away from Turkey Day!
Chiefs, man. What in the world are y’all doing? If you don’t go out there and get Patrick Mahomes some help.
I’m an Eagles fan here. I’m very glad my team won last night. But there’s no way in the world my team should’ve won Monday night. At least not the way it did, anyway. It shouldn’t have gone that way.
We can literally say that because we watched a touchdown fall through the hands of Marquez Valdes-Scantling at the end of the game. If you’re like me, you’ve probably watched the play 1,000 times already wondering what sort of deal the Eagles made with the Football Gods to pull this one out.
Because … what? Look at this.

Look, I’m not trying to talk down on Valdes-Scantling here. He’s a good player. But he’s not a No. 1 receiving threat. The Chiefs don’t have one of those.
I know he has Travis Kelce, but Travis is a tight end. And he’s 34 years old. Sorry, Swifties, Trav is great. But he’s not stretching the field anymore. He doesn’t have the top-end speed.
Letting Tyreek Hill out the door was dangerous. It worked last season. The Chiefs won the Super Bowl, obviously, so it’s hard to say it was a bad decision in hindsight. But now it’s coming back to bite Kansas City.
This team leads the NFL in drops with 26 this season. Mahomes has 124 incompletions so far this year. That means 21 percent of those incompletions have been dropped passes.
Listen, Kansas City. I’m just a regular dude. I’m not in a position to tell you how to run your team. But y’all might want to get the best quarterback in the NFL some reliable pass catchers on the outside.
Just a bit of friendly advice here.
Kim Mulkey remains the worst coach to play for
Angel Reese has been absent for LSU’s last two games. Why? We have no idea. Kim Mulkey won’t give anybody a straight answer on it. Reporters have asked about it, but the best they get is that “Angel was not in uniform tonight. Angel is a part of this basketball team. Angel will be back sooner than later.”

She chastises the media for asking questions as if a missing All-American player is just an everyday occurrence. It’s infuriating. She’s not protecting Reese here. She’s only making things worse.
The rumor mill is running wild with speculation ranging from issues with Reese’s grades to beef with teammates. This seems like some sort of team discipline but, in truth, we don’t know anything. That’s never stopped the internet from internetting before, though.
Mulkey could easily put out this fire. She refuses. It’s gotten so bad that Reese addressed things (albeit briefly) on Twitter, which is like throwing a cup of water at a fire at this point.
It’s hard to feel bad for anyone who chooses to play for Mulkey. We know how she rolls — just ask Brittney Griner. She only cares about herself.
But still, man. These are student-athletes. They’re kids. They deserve quite a bit of grace. I just hope the rest of us are willing to give it because it’s clear that their head coach won’t.
A Bob’s Burgers ranking for the Holidays!
I’ve told you before that our Christian D’Andrea is an evil genius. Sometimes, though, the holiday spirit gets into him. The Ghost of Thanksgiving’s past has taken over today.
Christian ranked all 11 Thanksgiving episodes of Bob’s Burgers. This isn’t the content you knew you wanted, but it’s absolutely what you deserve.
“Bob’s Burgers takes its holiday episodes seriously. Each year brings a handful of seasonal specials, hitting everything from Halloween to Easter.
But over 14 seasons, no holiday looms larger on the Belcher family calendar than Thanksgiving. It makes sense that a family with a restaurant would take the biggest meal of the year seriously. But patriarch Bob goes above and beyond in his commitment to make a perfect meal, only to have it perpetually ruined by forces both outside and inside his own control.
This year’s episode would have marked the 12th Thanksgiving episode in the long-running cartoon’s arsenal … except it was a long tale about raccoons and burnout instead of a 22-minute treatise on turkey. No matter, we’ve got 11 Thanksgiving episodes lingering to fall back on — and enough time to divine the classics from the merely ‘pretty good.’,”
