With prices rising across the nation and inflation reaching higher levels than ever before, the cost of living crisis is an ever-increasing battle for many.
And if that wasn't a hard enough pill to swallow, there is soon to be a tax hike and today (Friday, April 1) will see the energy price cap rise as people desperately try to keep monthly costs low.
Fortunately, fuel prices appear to be largely unchanged since Tuesday (March 29), though drivers would be happier paying lower rates since the drastic rise earlier in the year. The fuel duty cut, announced by the chancellor, Rishi Sunak, last week, should have cut prices by around 6p, but it hasn't had such a big effect just yet.
