Scots drivers across the country will be breathing a slight sigh of relief at the petrol pumps as prices have slowly begun to fall in recent weeks.
Costs of petrol and diesel at forecourts across the country have soared to record-highs this year, leaving drivers to grapple with even higher prices amidst the rising cost of living.
The increase in prices have largely been driven by the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Russia's invasion of Ukraine led to sanctions on Russian based oil and, as the one of the worlds largest oil producers, this led to an increased price on the cost of petrol and diesel.
