The Chase star Mark Labbett says he's 'not hungry anymore' as he opens up on incredible 10 stone weight loss

Mark Labbett has opened up on his impressive weight-loss journey and said that he doesn't feel "hungry anymore".

The ITV quizzer, who is best known for his role as The Beast on The Chase, appeared on Steph's Packed Lunch earlier this week and opened up about his slimmed down physique. Appearing on the Channel 4 show alongside his new girlfriend Hayley Palmer, he told the host "I'm not quite sure how I've done it."

He added: "Obviously, [I'm a] Type 2 diabetic, so leading on from the previous one, slightly different. Obviously, I have the drugs that I have to take every day but that's it. I've never had a diabetic episode."

The 57-year-old continued: "But I think I've lost some weight when I got hit by what was likely Covid. When I got hit you had to be practically the Prime Minister to get a test back then...And the main thing, I'm just not hungry anymore!"

The Chase quizzer keeps fans updated on his weight loss journey as fans delighted frequently congratulate the star on his efforts. He recently tweeted: "Picking up my skinny suits sometime this week. DJ and two pieces, each 54 long jacket and 40/34 trousers.

"Will post photos when I get a chance to wear them at a gig #skinnybeast."

He went on to add his "shirts [are] down from 22-inch collar to 18.5" and mentioned that his previous suits were "58 long and 46/34."

On Instagram, Mark revealed doctors had advised him that a gastric bypass or band wouldn’t work on him because “the sugar would go straight through it”.

He has also revealed he removed the substance from his diet after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2016.
