The Chase star Kadeena Cox from private love life to hidden talent and MS diagnosis

Kadeena Cox is best known for her gold medal performances at the Paralympic games as well as her multiple TV appearances.

The 31-year-old began sprinting competitively aged just 15 years old and went on to run 100metres in under 12 seconds as an able-bodied athlete.

The athlete isn't just known for her sporting achievements she has a hidden cooking talent as she won Celebrity Masterchef in 2021.

Her cooking talents meant she beat both Megan McKenna and Joe Swash after impressing the judges with her final meal.

For her starter she made a torched salmon with tempura prawn, a main of a Caribbean curried goat pie and a rack of lamb, and a jaw-dropping dessert of Choux au Craquelin filled with mascarpone whipped cream.

She previously appeared on I'm a Celebrity and at the time she admitted that the castle was mentally tougher than anything she has ever done before.

The Leeds born star is appearing on The Chase Celebrity Christmas Special on Boxing Day alongside 'Allo 'Allo's Vicki Michelle, TV presenter Radzi Chinyanganya and Olympic champion Sir Bradley Wiggins.

MS diagnosis

Kadeena was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2014 and has since been open about her health condition, raising awareness.

She suffered a stroke in 2014 before she was diagnosed with the condition that can affect the brain and spinal cord, causing a wide range of potential symptoms.

The sports star spoke with the Multiple Sclerosis Trust, sharing some of the 'invisible' symptoms she faces.

She said: "A lot of the symptoms are quite invisible. People can't see fatigue, you can't see any of the sensory issues that people have got, you can't see any of the cognitive issues, and that's quite tricky."

Offering advice to others, she told the trust: "I would just say, 'Don't panic.' Find networks of people that have the condition and speak to your MS nurse.

"It is a very scary condition to have, especially when you're first diagnosed, but it's not as bad as what people think and especially in this day and age with all the research that's been done.”

Is she married?

Despite Kadeena being in the public eye, when it comes to her love life the athlete prefers to give that away from the spotlight. Very little is known about romantic life as the sports star has never revealed if she is dating anyone.
