The Chase fans have praised Paul Sinha after he suggested a new rule for players who take the low offer on the quiz show.
The chaser wasn't impressed when contestant Debbie chose to take £2,000 off the team's total jackpot after going with the lower prize.
As the artist from Kent cheered over the two grand, Paul snapped: "I don't what you're so happy about...they've brought in new rules. If you get back you'll owe us two grand, sorry about that."
Viewers flocked to Twitter and said the show's producers should take Paul's idea on board.
"#thechase. Good man Chaser Paul. You only get out what you put in... New rules!"
"If only they brought in that rule! #TheChase." Mayce_Windu commented: "Paul's rule would be very popular with the viewers. #TheChase."
Another added: "People who take the minus option shouldn't win any money. Or should have the amount the took away, taken away from their cut #TheChase."
Hitting out at Debbie, one said: "Who tf cheers when you win the minus offer? #TheChase."
Paul also ruffled a few feathers after he told Debbie's team member that his unusual outfit "should be banned".
Colin, a 59-year-old police call handler was wearing a union jack waistcoat and tie when he appeared on the show with the artist.
Paul joked that it should be banned, and fans agreed with him on Twitter.
"Jesus Christ, Colin!! The outfit #TheChase." Binomial15 added: "Colin, Colin, Colin…please do tell where you do your clothes shopping. #Thechase."
But not everyone agreed, one wrote: "Colin’s waistcoat is awesome!!! #TheChase." Lozd491 agreed: "Nice bow tie Colin! #TheChase."
Alice commented: "What an outfit on Colin #TheChase." Swalk added: "Love Colin’s clobber! #TheChase."
Colin made it through to the final chase.

She replied when a fan asked about Issa's involvement in the show: "Issa is an actual Chaser and has already recorded BTC in Australia, so he knows what he's doing."
