The Chase star Mark Labbett says he cut out two food groups to lose an impressive 10 stone.
The Beast, 57, was complimented on his huge change in appearance as he was interviewed on This Morning this week and now he's explained the secrets behind his weight loss.
In terms of diet, Mark says focusing on cutting down on sugar and carbs was the key to his "complete nutrition overhaul".
The father-of-one didn't have any surgery to help him shift the pounds, explaining he was warned by doctors that having a gastric band fitted would be dangerous, because of the way his body digests sugar.
The former maths teacher was his heaviest in 2003, tipping the scales at 29 stone.
Mark was later diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2016, forcing him to make serious lifestyle changes to protect his health.
After committing to healthier eating during lockdown, in which he says catching Covid suppressed his appetite, the brain box is now the "smallest" he's been in 30 years - while standing at a towering 6 foot 6.
Mark says he managed to drop three stone before lockdown, but when the nurseries shut due to the pandemic and he had to chase around his "hyperactive" toddler - he lost even more weight.
Speaking to the Loose Women panel last year, he explained: "I found at the end of the evening instead of going to the fridge for late night snacking, all I could do was collapse on the bed."
Mark also has his pet Labrador Retriever Baloo to thank for weight-loss, revealing on ITV's The Pet Show with Dermot O'Leary and Joanna Page.
He explained: "I was walking him around the fields, taking me places... I think he's helped a lot, simply because I'm doing more activity."
The TV star's new look went down a storm with This Morning fans when he appeared on the show on Monday.
Many took to Twitter complimenting The Beast on his appearance.
One said: " Wow @marklabbett has lost so much weight, but he looks great,' remarked one.
While another wrote: "Mark looks incredible after dropping the weight. Watching his interview he seems like such a lovely guy."
Reflecting on how much his life had changed for the better since joining The Chase, fans flocked to social media commending Mark on his interview.
Several mentioned how well he came across - with many saying the former maths teacher should have his own show.
