The Chase's Jenny Ryan supports LGBTQ community with style statement at glamourous bash

The Chase's Jenny Ryan showed off a new look as she stepped out at a star-studded red carpet in London on Thursday night.

The quiz maestro, who is dubbed The Vixen on the highly popular ITV daytime show, looked glamourous during the red carpet press night for the theatre production of 42nd Street at Sadler's Wells in London.

Jenny beamed for the cameras as she wore a summery light blue jumpsuit, which was coupled with chunky white trainers with rainbow coloured soles - coinciding with Pride Month.

She completed her look with a blue satchel along with her signature circular glasses and red hair which was straightened.

Other famous faces who graced the red carpet were former Love Island contestant Amy Hart, Britain's Got Talent judge Bruno Tonioli, Great British Bake Off star Dame Prue Leith and former EastEnders actress Samantha Womack.

The stage musical is based on the 1932 novel by Bradford Ropes and 1933 Hollywood film adaptation of the same name, with 42nd Street following the rehearsal of a Broadway show being put on during the height of the Great Depression.

Jenny, 41, has been on the ITV quiz show since 2015, alongside Mark Labbett, 57, Shaun Wallace, 63, Anne Hegerty, 64, and Paul Sinha, 53.

The group – which has more recently included the addition of Darragh Ennis, 43 – appear together on the spin-off Beat the Chasers, which was launched back in 2020.

She initially used her impressive general knowledge on the ITV quiz show long before Jenny graced our screens as she wrote questions for The Chase's pilot episode in 2009. She was then recommended by Anne, who knew each other through quizzing, to become a Chaser.

Jenny revealed that there is "a little bit of rivalry" between the Chasers but insisted there is "no animosity".

Discussing her co-stars and fellow quizzers, Jenny said that some viewers wrongly suspect there is "bad blood" between them – though she said this isn't the case.

She told the Daily Star in October: "I think people watching at home, especially Beat The Chasers, are thinking we all wind each other up and there's a little bit of bad blood.

"But there's honestly absolutely none. We've all had lunch beforehand whilst firing questions at each other to warm up, and if one of us makes a mistake it's very fleeting."
