The Chase and Tipping Point have been pulled off air this week in an ITV schedule shake up.
The fan favourite shows - hosted by Bradley Walsh and Ben Shephard respectively - have been taking off air for the whole week to allow ITV to air their Royal Ascot coverage, which is broadcasted live from Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Tipping Point is usually on at 4pm on weekdays, whilst The Chase follows it at 5pm, but fans of the ITV quiz shows will be left disappointed when they tune into the channel at this time for the next few days, as coverage of the horse show will be aired instead.
For the entire week, from Monday June 14 to Friday June 17, ITV has shelved new episodes of The Chase and Tipping Point in favour of the Ascot coverage, but things will be back to normal next week.
Tipping Point is celebrating 10 years on our screens, and Ben recently exclusively revealed to The Mirror that he will "continue to make a fool of himself regularly" on the show, for as long as he is host.
"These people are under pressure in an environment and their minds go blank and they can’t think of anything and the words don’t make sense. And I just have so much admiration for all of them," he said.
"There have been some amazing answers but to be fair to all those people that come in, they are incredibly brave to take on the machine. And I would hate to think anybody would be nervous about coming in because they’re worried about making a fool of themselves, because I have done it on a number of occasions, and continue to make a fool of myself regularly."
He added: "And I think that anybody can, when you’re under pressure like that. And hopefully they feel like we’re laughing with them and not laughing at them, because I would hate that to be the case."
Elsewhere, Bradley has opened up about retiring from The Chase one day.
"You know what, in a couple of years' time I won’t have to do any of it, I’ll be retired and that’ll be it," he said as he spoke about the tough work schedule he faces, "The Chase allows me to do the other stuff which I really want to do. The Larkins is... a 14 to 15-week shoot, and then you need five to six weeks on the road for Breaking Dad."
