There’s not much on the red carpet that translates to everyday dressing. Those eye-watering diamonds are a bit conspicuous for the commute, and floor-skimming gowns wouldn’t last a minute on London’s mean streets. A brooch, though? As modelled at the Oscars a few weeks ago by the likes of Pedro Pascal (a blooming Chanel silk flower) and Michael B Jordan (a constellation of star pins), it might just be the perfect spring wardrobe addition.
