The Denver Broncos may be 0-2, but hey, they made it REALLY REALLY interesting in the 35-33 loss to the Washington Commanders.
Russell Wilson’s team was down 35-27 near midfield when the embattled veteran QB stepped back and threw a Hail Mary downfield. A few yards in front of the end zone, the Broncos executed the tip drill to perfection: One bat up in the air, another … and then wideout Brandon Johnson came down with the football.
WOW. WOWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
But then the Broncos needed a two-point conversion, which failed (and maybe there was some pass interference too?).
