Despite their 34-27 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday Night Football, the Denver Broncos can still clinch a spot in the 2024 NFL playoffs this weekend.
The Broncos will clinch a Wild Card spot in the postseason if three games go their way on Sunday. Denver would need the Miami Dolphins, Cincinnati Bengals and Indianapolis Colts to all lose or tie in Week 16.
If all three of those teams fail to win on Sunday, the Broncos will clinch a playoff spot because those three teams would each have nine losses and Denver can’t finish worse than 9-8 with two games remaining.
Been quite a while since we’ve seen the Broncos have a clinching scenario in a news release issued by the NFL, but here we are: pic.twitter.com/UKCTkyWhSB

So, here’s the rooting guide for Broncos Country on Sunday:
- Browns beat Bengals (11:00 a.m. MT)
- Titans beat Colts (11:00 a.m. MT)
- 49ers beat Dolphins (2:05 p.m. MT)
If those three teams do not all lose or tie this weekend, Denver will need to win one of its final two games to clinch a spot in the playoffs. Up next is a road game against the Bengals in a Saturday afternoon special in Week 17.
