The British creatives fronting The BoF 500 this year

As the definitive index of the movers, shapers and faces of fashion globally, Business of Fashion’s annual BoF 500 is a hotly anticipated announcement.

Described by the publication as, “The people shaping the global fashion industry, curated by the editors of The Business of Fashion, based on nominations and on-the-ground intelligence from around the world.” Each year since its inception in 2013, new names are added to the industry-acclaimed list, meaning the guide now represents more than 70 nationalities across eight categories: Designers, Executives, Media, Retailers, Entrepreneurs, Creative Class, Models & Muses and more Catalysts.

For the 2022 iteration, the gliteratti descended upon the BoF 500 gala at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris on Saturday night. The guestlist included a host of home-grown talent who were recently featured on the list, such as poet, model and trans visibility activist Kai-Isaiah Jamal, designer Supriya Lele, Nina Ricci’s newly appointed Creative Director Harris Reed, photographer Campbell Addy and Harry Styles’ stylist Harry Lambert.

BoF 500 also welcomed a slate of up and coming British designers, like Steven Stokey-Daley and Molly Goddard, as well as photographer Jack Bridgland, who was behind the viral Robert Pattinson GQ cover.
