A coastal town in the Bristol region currently has the area's highest covid rate - while an inner-city neighbourhood has got the lowest one.
Portishead Redcliffe currently has the region's highest infection rate (1,796.4 per 100,000) after 111 cases were reported in the seven days to March 26. In comparison, Barton Hill - which has the lowest rate in the region - reported 36 cases (429.7 per 100,000) in that same time period.
A total of 4,365 covid cases have been confirmed in Bristol in the past seven days, with 2,960 being recorded in South Gloucestershire and 2,456 in North Somerset. A total of 136 patients were admitted to North Bristol NHS Trust with covid-19 in the last seven days, with three of these patients being in ventilation beds.
