Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez continued with his World Cup celebrations by taking on Argentina teammate Cristian Romero at computer game FIFA 23 in the early hours.
Martinez, 24, will return to Old Trafford with a World Cup medal around his neck after the South Americans reigned supreme on the global stage with a pulsating victory over France on Sunday afternoon. It needed penalties to settle the scores between those two sides after what was a show-stopping 120 minutes.
Argentina captain Lionel Messi was the hero in regular time with two goals, but goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez took over with "mind games" and one telling stop in the shootout. He saved from Kingsley Coman and Real Madrid starlet Aurelien Tchouameni also missed the target for Les Bleus.

Messi (2) and France superstar Kylian Mbappe (3) traded blows before the penalty drama in a see-saw match which had viewers across the globe - and in the stands - on tenterhooks. Lisandro Martinez was similarly positioned on the Argentina bench as an unused substitute in the Qatar showpiece.
But with four tournament appearances, the United favourite certainly played his part. He was also among those left standing beyond 6am as the World Cup parade continued.
After sharing emotional scenes with teammates, family and friends on the pitch, the Argentina squad ate together and honoured the iconic victory in various ways. It included an early morning FIFA game between Lisandro Martinez and Tottenham player Romero - who seemingly had not had enough football for one day.
As captured by goalkeeper turned cameraman Emiliano Martinez - who uploaded countless behind-the-scene clips onto his social media accounts - the two defenders got down to business with controllers in hand. Both had shades on as Lisandro Martinez paused for a moment to wave wildly at the camera.
He featured in other clips, too, but this was one of the more measured videos posted by Argentina players!
