Among the top contenders for the 2024 NBA championship, the Celtics stand out due to their two-way star power. Holiday’s addition takes them to another level, making them a potential top-five team both offensively and defensively.
Holiday’s impact is undeniable. He can do it all on offense, matching or even surpassing the abilities of players he is stepping into the shoes of like Marcus Smart and Malcolm Brogdon. Defensively, he is a disruptor and one of the best guards in the league, significantly improving his team’s performance on that end.
With Holiday in the lineup, the Celtics have a versatile and potent five-man unit with Derek White, Jason Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Kristaps Porzingis.
