Black Friday is one of the biggest sales days in the world for online retailers and in 2022 it takes place on Friday 25 November. Most of the deals are still centred around technology and devices such as Amazon's Echo Dot and Samsung TVs make up a large proportion of the early Black Friday deals.
UK supermarkets rarely take part in Black Friday and in recent years Asda has actively stated it will not take part in the sales event. But there is a way for shoppers to stock up on multi packs of beans, toilet rolls, nappies and tea bags often at prices low than those in supermarkets.
Amazon Subscribe and Save is the brand's subscription service offering big savings for customers who commit to ordering monthly packages of certain items including food and other household items such as toilet roll. The Subscribe and Save section currently lists a six pack of Heinz Beanz for £4.28, less than the £4.50 charged at most UK supermarkets.

Other discounts include a 600-pack of Yorkshire Tea Bags for £11.88, which is cheaper than the £12.50 charged by Sainsbury's, and a jar of Nescafe coffee for £5.23, cheaper than the £5.50 charged by Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury's according to Trolley.co.uk.
The items can be ordered as a subscription service that can be cancelled at any time but there are other sections of the Amazon website that can get food and grocery discounts without a subscription. Amazon offers voucher codes on everything from Kenco coffee to Marmite on the grocery section of the website.
The vouchers are available to every shopper by clicking the voucher and then adding the item to a basket. The code will be applied at checkout. Current vouchers include discounts on multi-packs of Andrex toilet rolls, 20% off bottles of Pepsi Max and 15% off Comfort fabric conditioner.
The Black Friday sales themselves began in stores across the US, where images of shoppers fighting to get their hands on TVs and other tech were a common site. After arriving in UK shores the sales event now takes place mostly online, with the likes of Amazon, Currys, John Lewis and others all cutting prices in major sales events.
