It is almost time for the Georgia Bulldogs to kick off their 2022 season in which they look to defend their national championship.
The Dawgs will be led by last year’s starting quarterback Stetson Bennett once again. He returned to Athens and won the job from former USC QB J.T. Daniels, who is now at West Virginia.
The team also returns the leading receiver, tight end brock bowers. He and arik gilbert should provide a nice one-two punch in the passing game for Bennett.
Defensively, they will be led by standout cornerback kelee ringo and Nolan Smith. It all begins with the Oregon Ducks showdown in Atlanta, Georgia.

There wasn’t a better receiver on the team in 2021 than freshman tight end Brock Bowers. He hauled in 13 touchdowns and I fully expect that number to grow in 2022.
Will Arik Gilbert contribute in 2022?
The number is set at 5.5 touchdowns for Gilbert. He sat out last season due to personal reasons and hauled in just two during his freshman season at LSU. With the need for big play receivers, Gilbert might just get his opportunity.
Can Kelee Ringo double his production?
While Ringo picked off just two passes last year during the title run, however, he was picked on most preseason All-American teams. Ringo could be the best corner in the country by season’s end.
