Anthropologie
If you like cutesy decor that's a bit quirky and fun, Anthropologie is the place to shop holiday decor. They have some beautifully classic pieces too, like the festive take on their iconic Bistro Tile Collection, and their faux wreaths and garlands are some of the most realistic I have seen. What I love about the Anthro holiday collection is it's filled with the kind of pieces that become heirlooms, the kind of decor that you keep for decades and can bring joy year after year.
These are my top three buys from the 2024 collection, all with 30% off right now for Black Friday, so be quick!
Anthropologie is known for its love of monograms and there's plenty in the holiday collection. This ornament is a best seller this year, and it's easy to see why, the mini snow globe style is a classic. I also think this would make for a lovely hosting gift too, tied around a bottle of something tasty.
This bow garland has gone viral on social media, so have been in and out of stock in the last few week, but right now they are in stock and on sale too!
For a faux garland, this looks incredibly lush and organic, and is so low maintenance because it's already pre-lit with tiny glowing bulbs. Wrap it around a banister or along a mantle for an easy festive decor idea.
Pottery Barn
Pottery Barn does so many different styles of Christmas decor, but I think what it does best is classic, slightly rustic pieces. Think plaid and lots of green and red and there's a bit of vintage, nostalgic feel going on here too. There's also up to 40% off most of the holiday collection for Black Friday, making already affordable pieces even more of a bargain. These are the stand out pieces in my cart.
Cute and classic these gingerbread ornaments have been best sellers this year. There's a whole gingerbread theme going on at Pottery Barn this year so plenty of pieces you can pick up to match this set.
You can spend hours perfecting your tree decor so don't let it be brought down by an unsightly base. A collar is a chic and simple way to ensure it looks lovely from head to toe, and a woven one like this is subtle enough to work with any decor scheme.
This gingerbread train has the potential to become a real Christmas staple, the sort of piece you bring out every year to hold candy canes or festive favors. Pop it on a mantel or make it the centerpiece of your festive table.
Target
Target is a great place to shop chic and affordable Christmas decorations. I usually head straight to their collections with designers Shea McGee and Joanna Gaines. The Threshold designed with Studio McGee and the Hearth & Hand with Magnolia are both ways to create these designers iconic modern rustic look in your own home at really reasonable prices.
Red and green are of course a classic combination at Christmas, as is a wreath so pair them together for the most festive of looks. For such an affordable prices this wreath and Studio McGee's collection with Target looks lush and organic.
Art is an underrated and really easy way to bring the holiday spirit to your decor. This Christmas tree design in a gold frame has a decidedly vintage feel to it and would be perfect leaned on a mantle or shelving for a quick and simple festive update.
If you are after some tree decorations that will make a statement but still feel timeless, these bird ornaments would be perfect. At just $5 each they are sure to make your Christmas tree look more expensive without having to splurge.
Another classic red and green wreath, this time from Joanna Gaines' collection at Target. This has a lovely rustic, handmade feel to it and it's actually real dried foliage!
I've seen garlands like this going for double, even triple the price of this one! $14.99 is an amazing price. I'd buy a couple and actually use them in my tree string up along with the fairy lights within the branches.
An easy way to elevate a holiday tablescape is a big vase of foliage. Joanna is always posting helpful videos about decorating with foliage, so pick up some from her Target range and head over to her Instagram for plenty of styling inspiration.
Amazon
It's might surprise you to see Amazon in a round-up for the best places to shop Christmas decorations, but their range is vast and there so much good stuff to be found, not to mention at great prices. I swear by shopping storefronts if you are after the good stuff quickly. My go-to is designer Drew Scott (A.K.A Lone Fox), his store font with beautiful, unexpected picks.
Bows were a big decor trend last year and the love has continued into 2025. Last year I tied velvet ribbons to my tree and put them away to use again this year but they have got so creased and sad-looking I am going to order some more robust pre-made ones. Nailing two trends in one here with the burgundy too.
Garlands can get expensive, especially if you want really full-looking real ones but Amazon has plenty of affordable options. This one features on Drew's storefront and has some rave reviews.
These honeycomb paper tree decorations have been on my wishlist for a while. Made from durable paper that won't tear when folded, they have glitter edges and a magnet to close them together.
Lenox
If you love kitschy, vintage Christmas decor Lenox is the place for you to head. This brand has gone viral in the last few months for its nostalgic aesthetic. There's lots of gorgeous crockery and serveware on there that would be ideal for hosting over the holidays, and so much gift inspiration too. Plus, Lenox has an amazing Black Friday sale going on right now so you can save on some really gorgeous, luxurious products across the whole of the site. And you can save a further 30% off some pieces with the code SAVEBIG.
An iconic set of decorations that takes the classic Grinch characters and motifs and makes them even sweeter. As with many Lenox pieces, these are collectibles that will become those sentimental pieces you bring out year after year.
These were the first new Christmas decorations I bought this year. They already look like they have been in my collection for decades the design and make so classic and such good quality. I was thinking about using these on the tree, but I think they deserve more attention so I am going to hang from the garland on my mantle.
A snow globe is such a nostalgic holiday motif and so many brands have brought them into their collections in some form or another this year. This is a super luxe take on the decoration (and at such a great price in the sale too).
IKEA
If you love Scandi Christmas decor IKEA has you covered. Their collection impresses me every year and the prices are unbeatable! Their 2024 offering has a lovely folksy-feel to it that's very on trend this year but also a timeless theme.
These assemble-yourself heart-shaped ornaments offer an easy opportunity for loved ones and little ones to help trim the tree. Creating both cute and affordable decor and a nice cozy activity for a winter afternoon.
