The Saks Fifth Avenue sale used to be a big deal, with lines around the block as New Yorkers tried to get cut prices on designer goods and appliances. It was very stressful and more importantly, pretty useless if you're not in NYC.
However, these days the sale is online, so you can still find huge discounts on luxury items without having to elbow your way around the store. But that said, there's still thousands of items on sale, so it can be hard to know what to buy.
That's where I come in. As a product tester, I've tested a lot of what's on offer first-hand. Whether you want one of the best coffee makers or a discounted Dutch oven, here's my picks of the best of the Saks Fifth Avenue after-Christmas sale.
What's on sale?
If you want to jump straight to the deals, here's what's on offer:
- Saks bedding deals: 60% off sheets
- Saks kitchen appliance deals: more than $200 off
- Saks home decor deals: $100s off
- Saks dining deals: 50% off

Le Creuset pots are a classic for a reason. We've tried to find alternatives for years but they live up to the hype. This huge 7.5 quart oven is as good as it gets, but it's usually too expensive. Any discount on this is worth nabbing.
Was $849, now $599.99 at Saks
One of our product testers swears by this fan. It can heat and cool a room and clean your air at the sime time. It's still expensive, but life-changing if you live in a city.
Was $239, now $179.25 at Saks
If you want to drink single-serve, this is a good choice. Nespresso machines make some of the best pod coffee out there, and after using one of these for years, I've found it fast. This bundle deal also include an Aeroccino frother, which is great on alternative milks.
Was $349, now $244.30 at Saks
We're yet to give this a full review, but one of our product testers gave it as a gift and told me it was worth every cent. A pneumatic needle means you can drink from a bottle of wine without ever uncorking it, helping to preserve its flavor.
Was $649.95, now $574.95 at Saks
This is the best blender in the world. It aced all of our tests and the blades spin so fast that they generate enough heat to make soup. I usually hesitate to recommend it outside of sales periods because it's so expensive but this discount makes it much more reasonable.
Was $699.99, now $499.95 at Saks
Our ex-barista coffee expert adores this machine. If you've been thinking about an espresso machine, this is the one you need. It makes the best coffee we've tested in a domestic machine and it's easy to use. Her only caveat is that it's too expensive outside of sales periods, so this $200 off deal takes away the only drawback.
Was $129.99, now $69.99 at Saks Fifth Avenue
This dinnerware set contains two nesting baking dishes and two stackable bowls, ideal for plating and presentation. Each piece is crafted from stoneware, which is fired at ultra-high temperatures for heat-resistance. The porcelain enamel glaze doesn't just look good: it's stain- and scratch-resistant for quick and easy food release.
Was $399.95, now $249.95 at Saks
This espresso machine includes all the filters, tampers, and cleaning tools you need to brew silky smooth shots. Just 12 inches high and 6 inches wide, it should easily clear low cabinets without cluttering your counters. I'd recommend this machine to espresso lovers working with a smaller kitchen.
Was $369.99, now $149.99 at Saks
If you like Le Creuset but can't justify the high price, Staub is your next best bet. We think it cooks almost as well; the only real mark against this is that the dark surface makes it slightly harder to check progress as you cook.
