The Saks Fifth Avenue sale used to be a big deal, with lines around the block as New Yorkers tried to get cut prices on designer goods and appliances. It was very stressful and more importantly, pretty useless if you're not in NYC.
However, these days the sale is online, so you can still find huge discounts on luxury items without having to elbow your way around the store. But that said, there's still thousands of items on sale, so it can be hard to know what to buy.
