Sergio Aguero couldn't hide his delight as Manchester City thumped local rivals Manchester United in the derby on Sunday.
Kevin De Bruyne gave City the lead early on, sweeping home a Bernardo Silva cross. Former City man Jadon Sancho equalised for the visitors after 22 minutes with a curling effort beyond the reach of Ederson.
Just six minutes later, Blues captain De Bruyne gave City the lead once again, firing home from close range. With 68 minutes on the clock, City's Algerian winger ended the game as a contest with a superb finish.
A corner kick from the left was met by Mahrez who fired home a brilliant effort. The shot took a slight deflection off Harry Maguire but Mahrez will still be credited with the strike.
City even added a fourth late on as they move six points clear of Liverpool in the Premier League table. City fans all over the world enjoyed Pep Guardiola's team's display, including former striker Aguero.
City's club-record goalscorer took to Twitter to praise his former side, with many other supporters taking the chance to laud Mahrez's brilliant strike to hand City their third of the game.
