The best Game Boy Color games shine a light on the many memorable experiences that landed on the classic and much loved handheld. As the first Game Boy to feature a color screen, we got to see some truly excellent adventures come to life on the little machine, including some of the most iconic Pokémon games and Mario games.
First launching in 1998 before being discontinued a handful of years later in 2003, the handheld really did offer up plenty of great adventures, and could also support all of the best Game Boy games we saw on the original portable console. From some of the best platformers to entries in some of Nintendo's signature series, the Game Boy Color had so much to offer.
