Several years ago, there were very limited offers for electric-vehicle finance or lease deals. That was because there were very few electric models on the market, period. Now, there are countless EV models available from a variety of automakers—but the deals landscape was helped along by the federal EV tax credit.
That $7,500 tax credit to purchase or lease a qualifying EV went away at the end of September. Since then, automakers have been upping their own incentives to provide a degree of compensation for consumers.
But the degree to which automakers are improving their incentives varies significantly. Some automakers are holding the line with their outgoing lease deals and others have significantly increased them. Be sure to check your local dealerships for any clearout deals that may not be listed on automaker websites.
This month, we’ve compiled all the incentives available on all new EV and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models. Every automaker that offers an electric vehicle or plug-in hybrid is included. You will find the original source links for each brand at the top of every section.
Note that the deals can vary substantially by region. Most prices here use a California zip code, so you could find better deals elsewhere (particularly in states with their own incentives). If you find a model near you, we recommend reaching out to your local dealer's website for the most accurate pricing. Visit multiple dealers to get the best quote in your area.
But just remember that dealers won't offer the best deal on your first attempt. If you are unsure of your deal, it's best to reference forums like LeaseHackr, an online car negotiation community. And remember, never feel pressured to make a decision while you’re at the dealership. We also recommend avoiding dealerships that refuse to discuss lease numbers over the phone or via email.

Best New EV Deals In January 2026
Despite the end of the federal EV incentive, the available lease offers aren’t noticeably worse. It seems as though most automakers are not dramatically increasing the lease deals in the short term.
Will these prices increase later on in 2026? Perhaps, but it’s not irrational to assume that the banks ate most of the $7,500 credit as they are the ones who control the money factor, residual value, and relevant terms. It is also unlikely that a consumer will immediately pay $7,500 more to lease the same car they could’ve leased just a few months ago.
Regardless, there are still deals to be found and some automakers like, Lucid, BMW, and Honda, are upping the ante with notable cash discounts.
As a reminder, all of the lease deals below are subject to dealer participation, documentation fees, taxes, disposition fees, and potential wear and tear charges.

Remember that dealers are aiming to get their numbers up by the end of the year. Therefore, now is the best time to reach out to multiple dealerships and see which ones are offering competitive rates.
That said, there are likely additional incentives out there, specific to certain regions or dealerships (if the brand has dealerships). You just have to do your homework. Also, keep in mind that used EVs are available with reasonable deals as well.
