At Ralph Lauren's September 9 presentation in downtown Manhattan, Cynthia Erivo arrived in a black military-style jacket with red sleeve and collar detailing, paired with black flared trousers and a matching beret. The look leaned into a romantic-meets-tailored mood that ran through several other front row outfits that night. Meghann Fahy wore a black leather jacket in a midi hemline, while Viola Davis opted for a cashmere-and-leather combination and Elizabeth Debicki arrived in an olive green ensemble built around a button-up shirt, matching necktie and trench coat. Ella Hunt rounded out the group in a cropped tuxedo jacket. The overlap in outerwear silhouettes among several guests suggests tailored jackets, particularly in military and trench-inspired cuts, are shaping up as an early style thread of the week rather than a single standout moment.
