Eager to get back into the kitchen with The Bear season 4? After the fan-favorite, critically-acclaimed and award-winning show premiered The Bear season 3 in summer 2024, many fans are likely even more eager for it to return thanks to some major cliffhangers. However, the wait could be shorter than normal.
Before The Bear season 3 premiered, it was reported by multiple outlets that a fourth season had been greenlit and would be filmed back to back with the third season. That confidence in the show continuing to be a hit was confirmed as the season 3 premiere was the most-watched season premiere in Hulu history.
So just when can we expect new episodes of The Bear and what else do we know about season 4? Read on to find out.
The Bear season 4 release date
There is no official word on when The Bear season 4 is going to premiere at this time, but a recent coming soon video for Disney Plus/Hulu confirmed that the latest season of the show will premiere in 2025.
Each previous season of The Bear has premiered in June, so it's a fair bet that it'll follow that pattern to be one of the most talked about shows of the summer. We'll update this page when an official premiere date is announced.

The Bear season 4 cast
FX has not released any official details about The Bear season 4, including a any confirmation on the cast. However, based on where things ended for the main group of characters in The Bear season 3, expect that the main cast will all be back.
That includes Jeremy Allen White as Carmy, Ayo Edebiri as Sydney, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Richie, Abby Elliott as Natalie, Oliver Platt as Jimmy, Liza Colon-Zayas as Tina, Lionel Boyce as Marcus, Matty Matheson as Neil Fak, Edwin Lee Gibson as Ebraheim and Corey Hendrix as Gary "Sweeps" Woods.
Recurring stars like Ricky Staffieri, Molly Gordon and Chris Witaske are also safe bets to be back.
As for The Bear's myriad of guest stars, as season 3 taught us there's always a chance they reappear. Best bets include Jon Bernthal, Jamie Lee Curtis and Gillian Jacobs, while others like Josh Harnett, John Cena, Olivia Colman, Will Poulter and more are decent but less sure bets.
The Bear season 4 plot
Again, there's nothing official available, but based on The Bear season 3 ending we know some of the major plot points that season 4 will need to address.
First and foremost is the all important restaurant review from the Chicago Tribune and how that will impact The Bear. But ultimately, will it make a difference if Jimmy's finances are as bad as they seem.
Next, what is going to happen to Sydney? Is she going to leave The Bear or commit to continue working with Carmy and the rest of The Bear crew.
On the personal front, what will happen with Carmy and Claire, Carmy and Richie and Richie and his ex-wife Tiffany? How will Natalie adjust to motherhood? And, after we got bottle episodes the last two seasons on Marcus and Tina, which member of The Bear staff could be next?
