In 1988, 22 years into their career, Barclay James Harvest split in two, becoming John Lees’ Barclay James Harvest and Barclay James Harvest featuring Les Holroyd. With original drummer Mel Pritchard having died in 2004, the three remaining original members told Prog about their highs and lows in 2010, not long before keyboardist Stuart ‘Woolly’ Wolstenholme’s death.
