Arc Raiders roadmap: All upcoming content and updates

Arc Raiders extraction characters.

Despite how successful Arc Raiders has been so far, as any seasoned scavenger knows, scrounging for scrap through the same old crates and cabinets can only satisfy for so long. Inevitably, even the most accomplished raider will yearn for more. And more is exactly what Embark Studios has planned with its Arc Raiders roadmap.

The 2026 roadmap gives us a preview of what new sights we can expect to see on our expeditions aboveground this year. Well, at least for the next four months.

We know more content is coming in 2026, including "multiple maps", additional weather conditions, events, and cosmetics, though Embark hasn't given us any more runway.

Embark has released an updated roadmap spanning from January to April 2026, with a basic outline of what new content to expect in Arc Raiders:

  • January 2026: Headwinds
    • New level 40+ matchmaking option
    • New minor map condition
    • Player project
  • February 2026: Shrouded Sky
    • New map condition
    • Map update
    • New Arc enemy
    • Player project
    • Raider Deck
    • Expedition window
  • March 2026: Flashpoint
    • New map condition
    • New Arc enemy
    • Player project
    • Scrappy update
  • April 2026: Riven Tides
    • Brand-new map
    • A new map condition
    • New large Arc enemy
    • Expedition window
  • Ongoing:
    • Additional quests
    • New Feats and Trials
    • More events
    • New gameplay items
    • More cosmetics
    • Quality of life updates and other changes

The first major update of the year is Headwinds in January, which is a little on the smaller side. The main addition here is a new level 40+ matchmaking playlist, which should help new players get used to surviving Topside. Other than that, there's a minor map condition and a project to complete, so a bit of grinding before the main course: Shrouded Sky.

February's Shrouded Sky update is the second largest on the roadmap right now (don't be tricked by the number of bullet points). The highlights of Shrouded Sky are a major map condition and 'map update', which suggests areas of a map(s) will be overhauled to keep things fresh. There'll also be a new Arc enemy wreaking havoc.

Flashpoint in March is another slightly smaller update, though it still brings a new map condition and Arc enemy. The most exciting feature, at least to me, is actually the Scrappy update, which could potentially expand our favourite rooster's repertoire.

The final update on the 2026 roadmap so far is Riven Tides in April, and it's the largest of the bunch. Riven Tides comes with a brand-new map, the first in roughly five months after the release of Stella Montis back in November 2025. Judging by the teaser, it's a very coastal, beach-themed map, which also gives a few hints about the stormy new map condition coming alongside it.

Riven Tides also sees the addition of a large Arc enemy akin to the Queen or Matriarch. Following the trend, then, it's likely this update will also come with a new legendary weapon similar to the Aphelion.

And in case you're curious, here's everything that happened in Arc Raiders last year:
