The Apprentice, Love Island, Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and all the other TV shows you can apply for now

If you fancy showing off your baking skills to all and sundry - or you're single and not afraid to put yourself out there then a place on some of these TV shows could be just the ticket for you.

Production companies are on the hunt for people to take part on some of telly's biggest shows - and there's a fair few to choose from.

So whether you're the next Alan Sugar, or you're a quiz master capable of winning big, we've gone through some of the best programmes that are on the lookout for contestants.

The Apprentice

Do you think you have what it takes to become Lord Sugar's next business partner? Can you hack the world of the business? Then The Apprentice might be for you and applications are open now.

You can apply online on the BBC website with the show open to anyone aged 18 or over and the application closes on Friday, February, 4.

Love Island

You could be spending your summer in the romantic villa (ITV/REX/Shutterstock)

If you are looking for a summer of love then you can apply now for ITV's popular romance show Love Island.

Last year Welsh brickie Liam Reardon from Merthyr Tydfil won the show with his girlfriend Millie Court and the couple are still going strong.

Applications are open on the ITV website and there is no closing date listed yet and you must be 18 or over.

Sort Your Life Out

Popular TV presenter Stacey Solomon has her own show, Sort Your Life Out, where you can get your home organised.

With help from Stacey and her team you can let go of the things you don't need and keep what you do need, to help create your perfect home.

Applications are open online on the BBC website and close on Monday, January, 31.

Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway

Hosting their own Saturday night entertainment show on ITV well-loved TV presenters Ant and Dec are looking for members of the public to appear on their show.

From getting pranked to nominating someone to be surprised there are plenty of ways to have fun on this show.

Applications are open online and ITV is asking you to give as much detail as possible, with the applications closing on Monday, April, 4.

Married At First Sight UK

Are you prepared to marry a stranger? Love experts on E4 will pair you up with who they think is your perfect match to see if you can find martial happiness.

In 2021 two Welsh grooms appeared on the series, with one lasting through the whole process. You can apply by emailing marriedatfirstsight@cplproductions.co.uk with your name, age, and contact number.

There is currently no end date for the applications.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

Could you win the jackpot £1 million prize? (ITV plc)

Fancy trying your hand at one of the most well-known quiz shows on TV? You can apply to win £1 million on the show now.

With host Jeremy Clarkson taking you through the questions will you reach that £1 million jackpot?

You can apply on the ITV website and applications are open until Friday, February, 18 and this may be extended.

Long Lost Family

If you have an unknown family member you want to know more about or be reunited with, then Long Lost Family on ITV might be your chance.

The show will aim to track down long-lost relatives and reunite those who haven't seen each other for years.

Applications are currently open online with no end date and you must be aged 21 or above to apply.
