Apple appears to have paused the development of one of its boldest product concepts to date, earbuds fitted with tiny cameras. The idea behind the futuristic AirPods was ambitious: to combine the convenience of earbuds with AI that analyses the user's surroundings. However, the technology that made the concept so exciting also raised serious privacy concerns, including questions about whether consumers would actually want cameras hidden inside their headphones.
