A lesser-known action thriller led by Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal has seen a surge in popularity on Netflix, as 2016’s The Accountant climbs the streamer’s ‘Top 10.’ The movie was added to the platform earlier this week, and on Thursday saw huge viewership, with The Accountant reaching the #1 spot. The success of the film coincides with the news that the long-awaited sequel, The Accountant 2, is currently in production.
Joining The Accountant in the ranks of Netflix's Top 10 are other notable movies such as Mending the Line, Irish Wish, On the Line, Damsel, and The Super Mario Bros. Movie, showcasing a diverse range of genres and star-studded casts.
